Delta Phi Epsilon internationally supports ANAD, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Delta Phi Epsilon Education Foundation. As Delta Nu, we have adopted our local philanthropy, The Police Survivor Fund. As a chapter we try to not only raise money for these foundations but to spread the word and inform as many people as we can about each foundation.

ANAD (National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders)

ANAD is a national organization dedicated to alleviating the problems of anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders. Its methods include education, counseling, self-help groups and funding for research. The ANAD Candlelight Vigil has been selected as Delta Phi Epsilon's International Service Day Event to raise awareness of the dangers of eating disorders. Chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States and Canada host ANAD Candlelight Vigils near the time of our Founders' Day, March 17.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation raises funds for research and for improving the quality of life for those suffering from cystic fibrosis. The life span of a person with cystic fibrosis use to be school age. But with our support, people with the disease can now live into their 30s, 40s and beyond.  In 2006, Delta Phi Epsilon introduced Tate's Totes in honor of International President Donna Von Bruening's nephew, Tate. Tate's Totes are activity kits that can be donated to help improve a child's extended stay in the hospital.

Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation

The Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation was created in 1967, primarily to provide scholarships and special support for sisters in need, but through time has evolved to also provide funding for sorority educational and leadership development programs, like Convention, volunteer training, and our PEARL Program, as well as support for our philanthropies, the national associations of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) and Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD).

The Police Survivor Fund

The Police Survivors Fund was established to honor the police officers that had fallen-in-duty and lend a helping hand to the surviving family of those officers. Donations help cover the funeral expenses and emergency expenses incurred by survivor families, and provided ongoing financial support to the families of injured and fallen officers.
